FROM THE DESK OF DR. REID Dear St. Patrick Families, Spirit week was a blast! The students had a great time. The weather held up for our St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The 5th graders on the float was a sight! They had a wonderful time. Thank you to all the parents who drove by, and thank you to the PTO for a terrific day. We raised $321.00 for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte. The students and teachers walked a total of 580 miles during PE and recess. It was so much fun to see everyone complete the 3-2-1 dash in their crazy socks! For Your Information - Knights of Columbus is hosting a Shrimp Boil - shrimp, potatoes and corn on the cob (sorry no sausage for Lent!). Friday, April 1st from 5 to 7 pm in the St. Patrick School Cafeteria. Cost: $10 per plate. You can pre-order at www.ParishEats.com. If you have questions, you can contact Sergio Miranda at: Sergio.miranda.usa@gmail.com Parents, if you are volunteering, remember to enter through the front door, sign the visitor book, and wear your visitor’s badge. I am asking that even if you drop your child/children off in the morning that you do not enter through the gym doors. The gym doors are where the students enter. Please walk to the front door and sign in. If you need to speak with a teacher, please contact them to set up a time that is convenient for both of you. I appreciate your help with this. Blessings, Dr. Reid |
