Greetings!

What a strange week it has been!

With a heavy heart and much deliberation, I have decided to cancel all appointments until April 6th.

The potential for transmission is too high, even with extra cleaning and spacing of patients.  Hopefully, if we are able to minimize spreading, to decrease the load in the hospitals, this will pass as quickly as possible with the least amount of impact.

This was a very difficult decision as I not only want to be available for preventative care as well as acute illnesses, I strive to be an accessible resource for your family.  To continue to support you and your family's health, I am always available via text, email or phone for questions, concerns or herbal/supplement needs. If I see your child for acupuncture, I will put together a video of massage for you to do at home to continue our treatment plan and will contact you individually.

Here is a link to a page that I have up on my website regarding CoViD-19.

I will continue to update that as new information comes out.

Please utilize resources such as the CDC and WHO for the most up to date information.  There is a lot of information circulating, much of it with only partially correct pieces in it.  Stay steady. Stay calm. Stay home.

I am attaching a piece by Stephen Cowen, MD who practices acupuncture and specializes in Developmental Pediatrics in New York. He recently passed this along and it is good advice for us all to implement.

Lastly, I am adding the video that I posted on my facebook page for a Qigong routine to strengthen the lung energy. See the link below.

Do this routine daily to strengthen your lungs and to fight infection.

Please call or email if you are in need of anything or have questions. Even though I am not seeing patients in person for these upcoming 3 weeks, I am available and continuing to work on ways to better serve you and your family.  If there is anyway that you think I can be doing that, I would love to hear about it!

Warmly,

Carrie Crimin, RN, L.Ac.
