On Tuesday 10th September we welcomed top local National Hunt jockey James Bowen, Great British Racing, and most importantly retired racehorse ‘Marv’ from Greatwood, near Marlborough, to school as part of National Racehorse Week.

From the beginning of this term we introduced our Acorn Certificates of Achievement. Every Friday, during our celebration assembly, we award a pupil, or pupils, from each class with this special certificate to recognise their academic and/or personal achievements during the week.

We are looking to grow as a school, so we're looking for several experienced Teaching Assistants to join our flourishing team. Enthusiastic and approachable, you'll have a flexible approach and an openness to learning new skills. Above all you'll have the desire to contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of our school.

During the summer break, Newbury-based Hedgehog Landscaping and Garden Structures created this wonderful outside area for our students to enjoy. It's a great resource for outside learning and play.
