Liberty Chamber Annual Fall Meeting.
We had a wonderful evening as our Liberty Chamber Members were invited to the “Taste of the Town Dinner.” The annual event was held at the American Legion Post in Liberty on Wednesday September 19th. The evening featured Cocktails & Conversation, and a delicious Taste of the Town Dinner Competition. An Informational Session included a message from the Chamber president; Shirley Pabst, a community update from Mayor York, and a program highlight by guest speaker from Randolph County School System Career Development Dept. The Liberty Chamber was proud to provide an opportunity for Nancy Cross to introduce 2 great partnership programs to our business community. The Randolph Works and Apprenticeship Randolph are programs that give students the opportunity to learn a trade while still in high school. Upon successful completion of the program, students are guaranteed a job when they graduate. It provides employers, prepared workforce that are eager to learn and earn.
