Fort Worth, Weatherford in high stakes competition for cutting horse business

Summary: Although the Will Rogers Memorial complex in Fort Worth has hosted National Cutting Horse Association events for decades, Weatherford is known as the Cutting Horse Capital of the World. Now, Fort Worth and Weatherford are in a high stakes competition for cutting horse business.

"The District" restaurants, entertainment, and retail to open September 2023

Summary: The District in Willow Park North is a promenade of restaurants and retail stores along the Clear Fork Trinity River, part of The Shops at Willow Park North -- designed for restaurants, retail entertainment, and an amphitheater for live music, outdoor activity areas, outdoor patio space with elevated 2nd story patio views.

UPDATE: Property Tax, 88th TX Legislative Session

Summary: Property tax reduction is almost a done deal and it's the headline of this week, the second legislative session, and the 88th Texas Congress. Elected officials had $33 billion in budget surplus and are spending $12.3B of the surplus on providing tax relief to Texas property owners, who pay some of the highest property taxes in the nation.
