PEARLS OF WISDOM

THE EVENT: AUCTION & BRUNCH

Pearls of Wisdom has been a major event for the Nashville Catholic Business Women's League! The annual fundraiser has always been one of the most exciting events members and guests look forward to every year. After last year's unexpected gap, we are changing things up a bit with a festive brunch with mimosas, and of course fabulous auction items! But right now, our focus is on the collective efforts necessary to make this event a well-attended and rewarding one. And this is where it gets even more exciting!

SEE A NEED. FILL A NEED.

Co-chairs Patricia Vance and Nikki Moreland are calling for your support. See how you can help!

  • Need 3-5 more people to volunteer to solicit auction items.
  • Need 2 live auction items with a value of $2000+. If you have an idea but aren't sure of the value, please contact Nikki Moreland or Patricia Vance
  • If you would like to be a table host, please let Patricia or Nikki know by July 21 if possible. Table sponsors will receive 10 seats for $500.
  • Individual tickets ($50 per person) go on sale August 1, 2021. Wait for your invite in the mail or check the website.
  • Here are the Sponsorship Levels and Form if anyone would like to be a sponsor for the event. You can also do it online.

AUCTION DONATIONS

Thank you so much to everyone who brought a gift card to last month's meeting! We are still accepting donations of gift cards from regional/national chains with a minimum value of $25 for our virtual and silent auctions. If you have your own business and would be willing to donate a gift certificate or basket of products that would be greatly appreciated! This will not only promote your business but also help us raise more funds for our event.

If you'd like to be added to the volunteer roster, please email Patricia Vance or click at this link to sign up https://forms.gle/LaEsE44mPGvPXQxk8.

President's Message

Lynne Warne

Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). The words of Jesus are spot-on. When you give, it has a boomerang effect. Happiness happens when we give it away. That’s such great news, especially with our annual fundraiser soon upon us.

Opportunities abound to give your time, talent and treasure to our Pearls of Wisdom event on September 11, which funds scholarships for girls at the three local Catholic high schools. We need volunteers, sponsors, table hosts, and donations; see this for more details.
