Introducing Youth Scholarship Winner

SIMON GROSVENOR of South Australia.

Simon Grosvenor was born and raised on a dairy farm.  From a very young age he knew that was what he wanted to do, and now as a 30 year old man that passion for dairy farming has never left ! He is the herd manager of his family farm milking 450 cows, of which he owns 200 of his own cattle.

He currently has over 100 Aussie Reds and Aussie Red crossbreds milking in the herd and he is a member of Australian Red Dairy Breed and registered breeder. Simon loves the durability of the breed. The cows get in calf, they milk well with great components, have very few calving issues, can withstand hot temperatures and he finds the temperament of the cattle is outstanding. He truly believe these are the cattle suited best to Australian conditions".
