On October 26, Christy Crowl will visit with SHHS Choir and Theatre classes. She has toured the world as an award-winning Top 20 Adult Contemporary Artists in addition to having an extensive sidelining career, where she has experience touring the world and the studio with such music legends and popular acts as Barbar Streisand, Gnarls Barkley, and Mannheim Steamroller. | | |

On Thursday, October 4th, a group of thirty students got the honor of attending an event at Salisbury University. As a part of their “justice” theme, Maryland Humanities chose Bloodsworth by Tim Junkin as the 2018 “One Maryland, One Book.” | | |

SHHS Athletic Hall of Fame Nominations Open The Hall of Fame was organized to recognize, honor, and preserve the history of the athletes, coaches, and individuals who have influenced the Snow Hill tradition of excellence through their achievements and contributions to the Snow Hill High School athletic program. Parent Reminders For School Evacuation & Closing ATTENTION PARENTS: In the event of an emergency that requires evacuation and closing of school, please note the following items in order to maximize the safety of your child: - Bring a photo identification for verification in order to release the student to parent/guardian.
- Upon arrival to the school, park in the student parking lot ONLY. All other parking lots will be closed so as to allow emergency vehicles access to the school.
- Students will not be released by parent/guardian phone call. Students will only be released to adults already listed on their emergency card.
- Student drivers will not be allowed to leave in their vehicles until it is determined that the threat does not originate in student vehicles. This will require a significant period of time to allow emergency responders to determine the nature and location of the threat. Students will only be released to adults already listed on their emergency card. Depending on the time elapsed before emergency responders can determine the nature and location of the threat, it may be necessary to retrieve the student’s vehicle at a later time.
- Students will not be released to ride home with other students by parent/guardian phone call. Students will only be released to adults already listed on their emergency card.
