President's Message

Being a member of CWN has allowed me many experiences that I would have otherwise been unaware of.  I had no idea that Chesapeake College offered this level of cutting edge training and high tech simulation labs for the medical and dental fields.  Many of our previous scholarship recipients have benefited from these facilities. If you were unable to attend our May mixer, check out the pictures on our facebook page. In addition to the tour, it was a chance to network with our CWN sisters from Talbot County. It’s great to make new connections!  Talbot has their meetings a week later than we do so that you can also join their chapter and attend their events.  Check out their website or facebook page for more details.

Another added benefit of CWN membership is the friendships that are formed.  Our membership directory is certainly the resource guide for needed services but the relationships that we build with one another are beyond a business connection.  Which makes it hard to say goodbye to one of our own. Gail Ruppe was a sister and close friend to many in our organization. Let us remember her smile and bubbly personality as we carry forward her spirit of sharing and caring for one another.

Join us in June as we present our scholarship awards to 22 women!  It is our distinct honor to recognize and assist these women as they pursue their dreams. Don’t miss the excitement!
