I find prayer a beautiful gift ... to be able to talk with God when I'm anxious, or discouraged, or confused, sad, happy, or rejoicing ... to talk with Him wherever I am. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says "pray continually" ... Wow! How wonderful! This reminds me that God is always near to listen and to lead ...

This illustration was inspired by a young lady I recently met, a sixth grader.
She is performing in the local middle school musical. She does not have a “big” part, but I believe one day she could if she chose to. Even though to the world her part is small, she does not let that define her. She befriended a boy at school when others were unkind to him. So although she may not have the biggest part on the stage, she lights the world around her through the kindness of her big heart!
Always remember you are beautiful and the world needs your light ... keep shining! |
