Take the Family for a StoryWalk® in the Park |
Enjoy a story and the outdoors with YCL's StoryWalk® at Miracle Park! This unique project encourages literacy, family time, and physical activity in nature. Simply read the posted signs as you take a walk or scan the QR code on the first page to hear the author read the story while you wander along the path! Our featured book, Louie's Together Playground, by Dr. Nicole Julia, tells the story of a crafty llama who dreams up a plan to bring the first all-inclusive playground to his town. |
This StoryWalk® is a partnership between York County Library and Miracle Park, which is located at 1005 Eden Terrace in Rock Hill. YCL extends a special thanks to Will Dalton for creating the sign frames as an Eagle Scout project. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. |
