Hello Dear Human! I know I own you one regular newsletter. And it will come to your inboxes on Easter Sunday, I promise! But before Sunday, there is so much happening, including a special webinar THIS THURSDAY and I really want to invite you to join us: Activists not Robots. Fighting Burnout in Times of Crisis. Thursday, April 18th at 5 p.m. CET. And it's free thanks to TechSoup Europe!

What will it be about? As activists, we are expected to constantly innovate, try new things and look for new solutions. Activists are supposed to improve democracy, empower disadvantaged groups and raise awareness of the society. But doing that kind of work comes at a great cost. We are tired, overworked, feeling depressed and powerless - like whatever we do it’s never enough. It's hard to be creative while felling overwhelmingly tired. During the webinar, we will talk about what is activist burnout, how to avoid it and what to do when it happens. Don’t worry – it will also be practical.
Who is it for? Activists, leaders of organizations - anybody who’s looking for answers on how to survive as a human in the era of burnout. You will be able to recognize factors contributing to burnout. You will get practical tips on what to do in short and long-term perspective for sustainable activism.
Key takeaways: - Activism Burnout Intro - why passionate people who want to do good in the world are burning out?
- What Is Burnout Anyway - how to recognize it
- I-care, Community-care, Organization-care - how social structures can respond to the danger of burnout
- Practical tips and where to find more information
