BRAG (Brox Road Nursery Action Group) Funds

BRAG was set up in 2020 and consists of a small group of local residents. When we received a leaflet through our doors, little did many of us believe what we held in our hands. It's finally coming.

Richborough Estates (RE) acquired the site of Brox Road Nursery, referred to as Ottershaw East (OE) in the 2030 local plan. This has now passed hands to The Vistry Group for development of 186 dwellings, 2 traveller pitches and a GP practice. The development will happen, but we can push hard to make sure it is something we can all learn to live with - we are working for the best possible outcome.

BRAG has been working hard for the last 2 years to pull valid, evidenced objections to the development plans and will continue to do so. We want these objections to be professionally backed so they hold more weight and credibility when presented to the planning committee for a decision about what the development will look like.
