Hello there! I am the new VUSAC Sustainability Commissioner. I am excited to meet you. 

My name is Amy. I am going into my second year studying physics and mathematics. First off, I wanted to thank you for subscribing to the Sustainability Commission newsletter. This is the first summer in a few years that we will be able to hold in-person programming and we are really excited to be able to meet everyone.

Beginning in the fall, we will be having weekly commission meetings open to everyone. As of right now, we are planning to have them in-person, however we are committed to making our meetings accessible. If online or in-person meetings pose an issue for your ability to come please let me know. More details to follow!

We are giving free away DivaCups in the fall! We will be handing out the first order in the quad on September 5. Stay tuned for more information about how to get yours! 

Sustainability Policy

We are currently in the process of writing a sustainability policy that will apply to VUSAC clubs and levies to support them in being sustainable. If you have any suggestions please send me an email. We will also send out a community feedback survey on our Instagram shortly and we are planning to host a community meeting to discuss it next month. Keep an eye out for the date and time.

Orientation

Come say hi to us during orientation! We will be in the quad from August 30 - September 2 and September 5 - 9 giving away free food and collecting divestment petition signatures. We hope to see you there :)
