Life Is A Succession Of Moments To Be Thankful For. "I would thank you here or there. I would thank you anywhere. I would thank you on a boat. I would thank you with a goat. In a park or at the zoo. 'Cause that was awfully nice of you!" ~Dr. Seuss |

Here's How The Good Finds You This is how I see it. You can think about all that you're NOT, or all that you ARE! Your life is as good as your mindset. The world you see is determined by how you choose to see the world. The good will find you if you find the good. When you look for the good, expect the good. When you see the good, you find the good. When you focus on the good, the good gets better. The good also find's you when you're good to yourself. Investing in yourself is being good to yourself, like restoring yourself. Like the rest-type of investment. |

❓❓ Did you know ❓❓ There's a difference between rest and sleep? Here is a great article (worth the 1 minute read) to learn more about the 7 types of rest you need to be good to yourself. When you feel good, you find the good. "When you start taking care of yourself You start feeling better, You start looking better, And you start to even attract better. It always starts with you. Take real good care of yourself." Source. Higher Perspective ❓❓ Did you know ❓❓ There's a name for the 'Blah' you may be feeling. |

Colouring generates mindfulness and quietness while tapping into creativity and logic. It doesn't mess with your melatonin levels, but the light in your electronics does! Colouring opens up the frontal lobe with controls how you problem solve and organize - allowing you to put everything aside and live in the moment. Get your colouring pencils, crayons, and/or markers out! Let's get colouring! Now a favour to ask of you. I'm looking to fill my home office wall with some creativity and colour plus a wide variety of Deerdra's to inspire me as I write the series of Deerdra stories! Will you help me? Check out the links below for the FREE colouring options. Instructions to get them to me are on the pages. |

You know what else feels good? Being appreciated. Here's a great HBR article on the do's and don'ts of making people feel appreciated. Don't be fooled about the word employees in the title of this article. The content is relevant in both professional duty and personal life. Since employees are people too, think about the little things that make people feel appreciated. |

Family MattersThis amazing young lady joined the Quarter Century Club this month. 25 years ago she blessed our world and gave us the beginning of the Lawson Family. My appreciation for her is endless and has no boundaries. From her love of nature, her quit wit, her respect for the environment, her zest for life, right through to her kind and thoughtful sole, her commitment and loyalty to friendships and sport (any guesses on the team she cheers for? 😃), I'm so lucky, proud and appreciative she's my daughter, Meghan. |

| | Doing Good at leaders2inspire This time of year we get planning for our Fall Leadership/Humanitarian Retreat, held in Los Barriles, Mexico. We of course paused them, thanks to the pandemic. That doesn't stop us from looking back at the impact we've previously had - using it as motivation to plan for the future. We are going to host them again, when it's safe to travel! I absolutely love what I'm doing at leaders2inspire! I particularly love witnessing how the teams we serve get engaged more fully in what they can offer their organization and community. Why? Because our 4Es Program gives them the chance to be involved in projects of purpose, among many other things. If you, or if you know someone, who would be interested in learning more about our program and retreats, schedule some time with me to chat. March 2019 was our inaugural retreat, and there are a million reasons why this one was such an appreciative and special experience for me. Video credit: Jo-Anne Chow, Brand Creek Creative | | |

| | Feeling Good at leaders2give pens4purpose is a humanitarian endeavour born from the Leaders2Inspire retreat attendees in March of 2019. One of the primary causes leaders2give supports is improving the lives of children living at the New Creation Kids Orphanage in La Paz, Mexico through the sale of their handmade wooden pens. pens4purpose helps fund the day to day operational expenses at the orphanage as well as giving older children hands-on woodworking training for future employment. One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to help with education, nutritious food, utilities, safe shelter, and medical access which contributes to their self sufficiency. Each pen is forged onsite using both local and imported wood and donated machinery. If you would like a pen, please email me at deb@leaders2inspire.com. Donations for New Creation Kids and/or other causes leaders2give supports are greatly appreciated here. | | |
