ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL NEWSLETTER |

|
Hello and welcome to the latest Accessible Travel Newsletter. This issue has a brand new blog post covering my latest trip to Scotland, news from the accessible travel sector, and a brilliant special offer for last minute October breaks. More on those below. How are you doing, lovely readers? Today, I’m all about breaking rules. I told myself when I started this newsletter that I’d send it out every other Monday, at the same time. That was easy to stick to for a few issues, but then life started getting busier again. I started asking myself why – why should I stick to my own self-imposed ‘rules’? There are probably loads of articles out there from so-called gurus telling us that we must stick to a specific publication day to encourage reader loyalty and engagement, but frankly I’ve never been one for convention, and I figure if you value my work and you want to read my content, you will, regardless of which day it lands in your inbox. Important rules that I’m absolutely not flouting are the current restrictions around travel. This weekend, I’m staying in the Yorkshire Dales, travelling from one medium-tier area to another. My plan for the weekend is lots of cosy cottage time, some local dog walks, and dinner in a pub that’s literally across the road from my accommodation. I’m staying at the stunning, accessible Cottage in the Dales. I’ll be writing up a blog review in the coming weeks, but for now, here’s a reminder of their COVID measures - [AD] Accessible Yorkshire Dales Cottages | COVID Safe Travel |

Did you know that 6th October was World Cerebral Palsy Day? To mark the day, I was beyond proud to have a part in this incredible film, put together by Adult CP Hub - showing how adults with CP keep smashing barriers, achieving goals and changing the world for the better. To quote the ever-amazing Rosie Jones, "I am living my best life. I have Cerebral Palsy. And I'm bloody proud of it." |
