Coronavirus - People in tall buildings may be more at risk

Michael Gormley, Director of the Water Academy at Heriot Watt University has published a scientific report in The Lancet that explores the risk of airborne transmission of viruses via waste water plumbing systems.

These concerning findings highlight the importance of continued good maintenance and repairs in tower blocks - something we continue to work on alongside our partners at mySociety through our FixMyBlock project.
