September NEWSLETTER

Check out what we've been up to!

Hi Wagashilovers!

Winter is finally over!

We can come out of our hibernation and get back into the sunshine (or the full moon!)... And that means getting out to some awesome markets and festivals!

The colder months have allowed us to think more about our products so you'll be seeing plenty of new, exciting seasonal sweets where ever you can find us.

We're spotlighting a couple of super popular Spring faves below - don't miss out on them as they sell out super quickly!

We're also looking to recycle or reuse as many of our blister packaging as possible, so like our great customers Catherine and Con, please return as many of them to us as you can - we will wash, sanitise and re-use! Thanks so much guys!

The next three months are going to be full of great events and even better sweets - so come on this journey with us, you won't regret it!

Yours, Minnie

"Edible art" from Weekend Notes

One of the best things about attending special markets like Hank Marvin Market is meeting so many amazing people!

For example: It was such a pleasure meeting Jen and her lovely family and seeing firsthand how much she was looking forward to having our sweets!

Turns out that Jen is a prolific writer for the great Weekend Notes online magazine and she wanted to write an article about us! This is so exciting and we are super grateful - it also makes us want to keep producing amazing #handmade sweets and sharing our story. Please like and subscribe to Jen's articles, you won't regret it!

Thanks so much Jen and we hope to see you very soon!

Hank Marvin Market

Not sure if you can have a more perfect day to attend a market! HMM has got to have the best vibe of almost any other market we've been to: Amazing food vendors, cool music, brilliant places to sit and catch up with friends, kids and dogs everywhere!

Paul and the team have a really special thing happening there every Saturday and we are so pleased to be a part of it... Check out this write up of HMM from our amazing customer Jen Weekend!

Product Spotlight: Spring is here!

Hanami Dango

The three colours of this super popular sweet, represent celebrating spring after a long cold winter. Pink represents the first blooms of the sakura (cherry blossom) trees. Green represents the greenery of Summer, and the white represents the receding snows of Winter. Put them all on a stick and you have a fun and oh so tasty sweet! Available during Spring.

Mikan (Mandarine) Daifuku

We've been experimenting with some amazing fresh fruit and with mandarines coming into season now, it's a no brainer to add to our fantastic signature daifuku range. You just can't beat how refreshing biting into a juicy slice of sweet seasonal mandarine is... and you get with our silky smooth white bean paste and soft mochi skin... yes, the only way to stop drooling is to get some! Right now!

Where will we be next?

We're always looking for new market and festival opportunities - thanks for your suggestions! Hopefully we will get to a market near you soon!
