Broken Clay Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit, missionary-evangelism ministry, established in 2013 with a passion to reach the lost with the gospel. BCM's preaching and teaching ministry extends to leadership conferences, revivals, preaching in churches, crusades and outreach to the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement. Together with our donors, BCM is providing practical ways to solve the problem of poverty by giving a hand-up and the gift of hope to children, families, and communities through our humanitarian efforts. |

God Cares High School Welcomes New Planet Primary School Graduates |

|
Pastor Bethuel and Florence Dongo, founders of God Cares Schools believed that the only way a child could rise above their circumstances of poverty and abandonment was through education, and that included learning about Jesus and empowering these children academically, spiritually, and emotionally. They named the new school God Cares School, so when a child was asked what school they attended, the answer God Cares would be forever on their lips, and they would be reminded that God cared for them and provided a school home for them. excert - Buyamba Newsletter January 2024 |

Broken Clay Ministries found sponsors for three amazing students. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of those who saw the need and responded. Your investment in these children will change their lives and give them a future breaking them out of the cycle of poverty into which they were born. On behalf of Peace, Patrick and Gift please accept our heartfelt appreciation. |

NEW PLANET PRIMARY SCHOOL |

FEED A CHILD BCM's first donation towards setting up a feeding program was in November 2015. During our 2015 outreach we were able to purchase food, cooking utensils, and supplies. When the students returned to class February 2016 it was to a nutritious breakfast of porridge followed by a lunch of beans and posha or rice. We started small with about 125 students. Prior to the feeding program, students would go home for lunch and with no food available they wouldn't return to school. Our donors have made an incredible difference in their health and ability to learn. Celebrate with us as BCM begins its nineth year, now providing five thousand meals each school week. PRAISE THE LORD FOR PROVISION! |

Thank you to our donors who have made these improvements possible! |

The pictures left to right, the new stove, briquette machine, and the previous crude stove we replaced. I'm sure the amazing women who cook 5000 meals each school week will appreciate this modern update. |

This month we purchased a new energy efficient stove for New Planet Primary School and a charcoal briquette making machine. The briquette making will be added as a skill at Born to Win Skilling Center providing a source of income. In addition, briquettes will be supplied to New Planet Primary School eliminating the monthly purchase of large bags of charcoal, and creating an efficient fuel source. The briquettes are made with charcoal residue and clay compressed into cubes and will be layered on lava rock burning longer than traditional charcoal. |

We pray each of you will have a Blessed and Happy New Year! A new year filled with hopes and dreams and new beginnings. It's with great anticipation that we wait on the Lord for direction, as we seek to follow where He leads. What assignments will the Lord have for you this year? What challenges lie ahead of us? There is certainly the component of the unknown. What we do know is that God's word is full of His wisdom, guidance and promises that will help us on this journey through 2024. For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 |
