As temperatures drop, make sure you’re geared up adequately. We have all the latest and greatest fall riding gear stocked.

We recently received some next-level softshell riding jackets from ION (the whole crew wants this jacket).

Stop by to get kitted out!

Do We Have Bikes?

With snow on the horizon, the last thing most would think to do right now is to buy a bike. Well, we are tired of being the bearers of bad news, but if you intend to buy a bike next spring, you should act now. Suppliers are warning us that 2022 inventory will likely be thinner than 2020 and 2021 combined. Right now, we have a larger bike inventory than most shops—don’t count on this lasting.

Keep scrolling to see some in-stock bikes.

What's the Turnaround Time for a Repair?

Currently, we are approximately 3-4 days out on a basic tune—call 541-719-1213 to schedule an appointment to expedite the process.

Please note that certain parts are taking longer than usual to get because of increased demand and industry shortages. If you have broken parts or extraordinary repairs, we recommend bringing your bike in for the most accurate quote.

Rentals?

Our little rental fleet of hardtails, full suspensions, and town bikes will remain available for the foreseeable future. Please call or visit to learn more and reserve.

Holiday Bike Drive?

Stay tuned for the November Roundup, where we will be announcing the details regarding our annual Holiday Bike Drive.

Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) September Update:

From COTA Trail News - October:

Hello Friends,

Fall is here and that means trail work is full steam ahead. With the recent precipitation and the Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) being lowered to Level 1 in the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forest, COTA volunteers have been making great strides in maintaining and building new trails around Central Oregon. All Chapters are hard at work getting trails ready for Fall and our annual Fall Trail Love event will be held on October 16th. Due to Covid, we are going to be doing it a little differently this year and will have small groups, led by Chapter Reps and Crew Leaders, hit the trails to get work done in a safe and socially-distanced manner.

Thank you to all of those who voted for COTA and the Big Sky Bike Park last month for the Visit Bend Sustainability Fund grant. COTA was awarded a 1-year grant to finish the construction of Stinger Trail at the Cascade View Trailhead in Redmond. The Big Sky Bike Park in Bend was also awarded a 2-year grant. Thanks again for your support!

October's Must Watch

Blueprint | SHIMANO

Get stoked from this epic building/riding video from BC legend, Marky Math.

"Blueprint started with a simple idea - to watch sections of trail come to life before the viewer's eyes. Once we broke ground here in Cumberland, BC, the abundance of dirt was the ultimate inspiration to challenge ourselves to build something that pushed our creativity further than we had planned. The corners were just asking to get stacked bigger, faster, and smoother! We visualized, developed, and pushed the limits to create something special for all riders to enjoy: a hand-built, blue square level flow trail you'll want to lap all day long."

We hope this newsletter is a gift to your inbox. As always, please feel free to respond to this email with any feedback or things you would like to see in future editions.

Thanks again for your support.

See you next month,
