RETURN TO HARDWICK RELEASED DIGITALLY, JUNE 9TH! |
We did it! All the hard work has paid off. Five years ago, next generation members of the 93rd Bomb Group took a trip to England to visit the group's airbase - Hardwick. Not only did this trip serve as a reminder of what the 93rd Bomb Group did during World War II, but it allowed a younger generation to connect with the people in England who still keep the history alive today. |

A few months ago we were very happy that Gravitas Ventures picked up Return To Hardwick. Gravitas Ventures is a leading distributor in independent film distribution. This deal allows us to pick up where we left off. Last year we made a strong effort to screen at museums and film festivals across the country (and a few screenings overseas). This deal with Gravitas Ventures will now bring Return To Hardwick to various streaming platforms right into your home! |
At this point we have a digital release date of June 9th, 2020. We are still getting confirmation on exactly what platforms the film will be available on. Please look out for this information in a future newsletter before June 9th. The first phase of this release will be on transactional platforms like iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, etc. This is only for U.S. and Canada right now. We are working hard on foreign distribution. Updates for DVDs and Blu-rays coming soon. So it's official! Please let your family and friends know about the release. |

I'd like to personally thank the 93rd Bomb Group sub-committee, Jim Root (93rd President), John Marx (93rd Vice-President) and Jean Koznarek (93rd Membership). They have been instrumental in getting this project done. Not only was it a challenging experience to put the film together, the sub-committee made sure the interests of the 93rd were held intact once picture was locked. Everything from lawyers to insurance, we all worked together to make Return To Hardwick a film to rival any big budget Hollywood production! Michael Sellers Producer/Director Return To Hardwick |

OFFICIAL SELECTION LONGLEAF FILM FESTIVAL 2020 |
We are super excited about our official selection into the Long Leaf Film Festival! Here is a little about the event: Longleaf Film Festival, an annual juried festival that highlights the stories that connect us all. We believe that making films is making history. Longleaf Film Festival is sponsored and administered by the North Carolina Museum of History. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the festival was officially cancelled but they did spearhead a screening of films online. Return To Hardwick did not participate in the online festival due to our current distribution deal but nevertheless we are happy to be included with all the filmmakers selected in 2020. |

We have hired publicist MPRM in Los Angeles to help us handle publicity for Return To Hardwick. We knew this was going to be a big job and the best thing was to bring a professional into the fold. Our early talks have gone well and they are just now beginning to setup a strategy in letting everyone know about the June 9th release. We are looking forward to working with them in the weeks ahead. |

The official Return To Hardwick website has been updated. Take a look if you get some time! We updated the "Story" section with some new information. |
