Pennies for the Park Continues! |
Emily Hollandsworth is making a difference in Rosebud! After some research she realized that the Rosebud Community Park Association will require significant amount of money to update the playground equipment. It will likely cost somewhere between $50-75,000 to make the planned improvements. To help raise money for the playground improvements, Emily has coordinated several fundraising events, including the “Pennies for the Park” campaign. Several shops in the area each have containers that you can drop your spare change into! Such an easy way to help - put your change in the jar! Visit the Playground for Rosebud Community Park Facebook page to get additional information. You can also make a donation at any time by contacting Emily through this same page. The park is a 501c3 organization and can accept tax deductible donations!! Emily is a great example of working hard to make ideas into reality! Any and all help is appreciated - from your time, spare change and/or a tax deductible donation!! |

ATV Sticker Information Enforcement began April 1, 2022 |
As a reminder, the new Rosebud permit ordinance for ATV, UTV, and low-speed vehicles went into effect on March 1 and is not being actively enforced. In order to drive legally on the streets and alleys maintained by the City of Rosebud and the Rosebud City limits of County Road Old Motel and State Highway T, all vehicles in these categories will need to obtain a permit. To receive a permit, your machine must have a simple inspection and a permit tag must be puchased per machine for $15.00. The inspection will check for an orange triangle or tall flag attached to vehicle, working headlights, taillights, muffler & braking system. You must also have a valid drivers license, be at least 18 years of age and maintain proof of financial responsibility or maintain any other insurance policy providing equivalent liability coverage of the specified vehicle. If you were unable to make the inspection events, you can call the police department to set up an inspection at your convenience.
A picture of the new sticker is shown to the right of this article and you can view the full ordinance below by zooming in on the images or right-clicking on it and selecting 'Open Image in New Tab.' Any questions can be answered by our local Rosebud Police Department. |
