One of our first design and build projects, this house in Alvados, was inspired by the local stone walls that shape and define the local landscape. With a simple mono-pitch roof this single storey house blends modernity with tradition, whilst offering a comfortable 2 bedroom retreat in the beautiful countryside village of Alvados. 

 

Organised as an L-shape, opening towards South-West, the Masterbedroom occupies the smaller of the two sides, with the guest bedroom, kitchen and large open plan living space located on the South facing side. A 1.2m roof overhang ensures adequate protection from heatgain in the summer, and the house features underfloor heating throughout keeping it warm throughout the winter.
