This will be Josh Ulate’s last Sunday with Plaza Bible Church. Our heart is with him, and we are grateful for his time this last year as our worship leader. We are also excited that he is getting married next month! Congrats Josh and Jocelyne!! As we pray and send him out this Sunday, we bless him, and applaud him, as he continues to lead worship and serve with his home church, Church of Power.
Here is the plan going forward. We will utilize our current team members. We are grateful that we have such wonderful people who serve every week on our worship team. We applaud you!! We are grateful for you!!
Next. We will build, and recruit, and allow people to jump in and apply their gift to our worship ministry. Yes that’s right, we desire our church to be a place where it’s easy to serve and be involved. We desire teams, and collaboration, and doing church together. Building takes time and focus, but it’s always worth it, especially because we are called, the Body of Christ.
Updates regarding COVID-19
Many of you have been following the news as we have seen national and global attention due to the COVID-19 virus. We are grieving the loss of life along with the families in mourning and lives severely interrupted.
For us as a family of faith, this is an important time for praying, trusting in the Lord, and being proactive in health matters. This is not a time for fear, or panic, but rather a time to find peace in Jesus. Let us serve as a witness to our friends and community that there is hope and peace found in The Savior.
We will continue with our regularly scheduled services, and will update in the future as necessary. For those with a suppressed or compromised immune system, please take all necessary precautions to maintain your health. Out of respect for one another, if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, we graciously ask that you get rest at home. We love you dearly, and do not ask this out of fear, but out of neighborly love for one another. Thank you for your understanding as we all seek to navigate this worldwide health scare with wisdom.
We will be live streaming our Plaza services on facebook, so if you stay home, or have friends you would like to share this livestream with, be sure to follow our Plaza page below.
If you have prayer requests, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
With love,
Pastor Micah
