From the Publisher's Desk

Our next release will be Cary Simms: The Witch Ring. Cary is excited to be entering her second year at TPS. After some issues over the summer, Cary wants to get back to her normal life in the magical realm. But when her new familiar, Cinnamon, makes a stunning appearance at school and a mysterious ring comes up missing, everyone starts talking about Cary in all the wrong ways. The only way for Cary to get back to that normal life she was looking for is to solve the theft herself.

Look for Cary Simms: The Witch Ring, coming out November 10th.

Did you know that we also have audiobooks? We're currently working through all our previous books, trying to include them in our current audiobook collection. But going forward, all books, including Cary Simms: The Witch Ring, will now be released with an audiobook. These are only available on Google Play at the moment, but we are still looking into other avenues as well. Check out our Audiobook page on the website for which titles are currently available.

From the Writer's Desk

Happy October every one. For those that don't know, I usually consider October the last month of my writing year. It's my last event (Collingswood) and with National Novel Writing Month happening in November, that's the perfect time to shore up my writing and start anew.

This year, however, I will not be doing NaNoWriMo. With how much more writing I've been doing, my usual writing schedule is only slightly slower than the usual 60 chapters in a month that I do with NaNoWriMo. And since I'm scheduled to start a new book in the next week, it's just better to start my November novel a bit early. According to my schedule, it will still be finished at the end of November, so it works out in the end anyway.

For those that didn't read my newsletter last month, I was going through the rest of Cary Simm's second year at TPS with The Ivory Mask and The Towers of Avalon. Both are now in first drafts, and I'll be working on editing The Ivory Mask shortly. Going into the next year, I'm currently planning to write 7 books, including 1 Cary Simms book. This is subject to change depending on how some of the books play out, especially since one of those books is a bit out of my usual wheelhouse.

The next year's books are currently planned as:

Rowen Oak: Wind and Stone - our November novel and the start of a new series

Induction at Hunters and Harts - the novel that isn't exactly in my wheelhouse, but it's something that's been nagging at me recently

Crystal Hunters: The Blue Crystal - Another new series, though it might end up just a stand alone

Social Gods - A stand alone book

Starlight - A stand alone book

Death World: Death Becomes You - The sequel to Pass the Death

Cary Simms: The Smallest Giant - The seventh book in the Cary Simms series

I'm looking forward to getting all these books out there for everyone to enjoy.

From the Event Desk

Collingswood Book Festival was this weekend, and boy was that something. It was scheduled to rain for at least part of the day, though it turned out to be just 45 minutes near the end as far as I could tell. It was enough for them to stick us in the gym again. I was a bit compressed in there, but everything still worked out. Saw a bunch of return customers, and several new ones as well. Despite the accommodations, I ended up having my best sales for Collingswood yet, almost selling as many books as the last two years combined. It's always excited to see which of my books do well, which people say that they enjoyed, and which are perhaps not as well taken.

Well, Collingswood was our last event for the year. I'm still looking to do more events, but there are only so many available within driving distance of me. I'll keep you guys updated when the next event is happening. I hope to see you all next year
