Hello, Art and Design Friends! The autumn colors are at their peak in Durango! Each bike ride, drive, and walk is a symphony for the senses – the gratifying crunch of leaves underfoot, the smell of crisp fall air, the feel of velvety leaves before they dance through the air, and the COLORS, oh my! The forests and mountains are ablaze with color, so beautiful it makes your heart ache, knowing this moment of beauty is fleeting. The gifts of this season are bountiful: tart apple cider, glorious leaves, plentiful pumpkins, the sounds of nearby high school football games on weekend nights... a season so perfect, it makes you crave pumpkin spice on everything. What's your favorite autumn gift? P.S. If your inbox is maxed out, you're always welcome to unsubscribe at the bottom of the page. Thank you! |

Autumn Ablaze Transfer Park above Lemon Reservoir has been a favorite camping spot for years. It has the perfect combination of shady pines, the flowing Florida River, and a cool swimming hole to splash in. We recently explored some jeep roads above the campgrounds and came upon this perfect fall scene at the trailhead of trail 663. The cacophony of leaf colors was begging to be captured on canvas. |
