Single Release!

(April 2021 Livingsong Newsletter)

Blessings dear friends and family,

We praise God for the opportunity to share the exciting news we have on this month’s newsletter!  As you can see from the banner above, our new original worship song "Worthy" has officially been released!!   Our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude and pray for the Lord to use this song for His glory!

As mentioned in March's newsletter, this song has been a work in progress that has taken over a year.  At times, the challenges we experienced seemed more like intentional attacks to discourage and distract us from the work God has called us to on the road and from releasing this worship song.  In this life, we all will continue to face our share of challenges, and some will be greater than others.  Regardless of what we face, as believers we must never lose sight of Jesus and His plan for our lives.   In the bridge of the song, there’s one line that says "Your light shines through the darkest place".  This is an eternal promise everyone can experience when we choose to turn from our sins, have faith in Christ, lean on His word, and surrender our lives to His will.  Only God can make us whole, and when this is recognized, worship overflows in reverence and adoration for the only one Worthy of our worship and Worthy of our praise! Amen.

It's a blessing to report that April was a fruitful month of ministry.  Please don't miss the testimony below about the recovery program “Fresh Start Ministries” in Orlando.  Another highlight was meeting and ministering to our new friends at the Harvest Recovery in Naples, FL.  Also, we visited our Tree of Life Church "TLC'' family (see photo collage) to share our mission update and testify to the impact their monthly support makes. A heartfelt thank you and big shout out to our team member, Ben Andrews, who traveled from Nashville TN to serve with us from Central to Southwest FL.  Lastly, this new original worship song and month of ministry would not have been possible without our faithful brothers and sisters in Christ who make a great impact in the lives reached through this ministry.  Thank you Barbara DuBrul, Bro Paul & Tracy Lucas, David Geyer, Doran Edwards, Elena Morse, Kelly Pryce, Lillian Seu, Maciel Mason, Michelle Link, Pastor Andrew Delong, Pastor Dennis & Tamara Jones, Patti Gumerson, Roberta Renk and Tim & Pat Smith.  Your fervent prayers and partnership support have given us the strength and faith to keep going all these years!  Sending love, hugs and blessings to you all, and praying you are strengthened in your faith by this newsletter. “And we know that all things work together for good to those that love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Prayer Requests

  • After our worship service at Fresh Start Ministries of Orlando, we met one of the recovery residents “Jesse” who was kind enough to help us break down our equipment.  He shared that he recently served a 23 year prison sentence and is now in the 2nd stage of this recovery program.  Jesse has been struggling with anger and bitterness, but he expressed his gratitude for experiencing the presence of the Lord for the first time at this worship service.  Heavenly Father, we humbly ask for You to do what only You can do in Jesse’s life.  Prayers for salvation and restoration.

  • Our dear friends and CR leaders just planted a new Celebrate Recovery program in Powder Springs, GA. Let’s lift them up in prayer as they work towards helping many with their journey to Recovery in Christ.

  • We humbly ask for prayers for Manny’s grandmother, Yolanda Cruz, who recently had emergency surgery In Cape Coral, FL for a ruptured appendix.  Your prayers are greatly appreciated for her recovery.
