WE DID IT!!! It's a Wonderful Life Radio Play finished filming on Wednesday, Emma the Musical finished filming all the On-Campus recordings just before Thanksgiving Break. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns about this.
All good things must come to an end and that means that we have to TEAR IT ALL DOWN during the strike this week. We will be striking the set for It's a wonderful life in the McGee and bringing the pieces we will not be saving to a dumpster outside the Gaffney. Make sure you have a warm coat!
There are also a few pieces hanging in Gaffney from Emma that will need to be struck as well.
Strike will be after school from 4 - 6 Monday - Thursday (12/8-12/10). If we finish early we will not have a crew call.
Weekly Vocabulary
Strike - The time after the final performance of a production when the set is torn down, the theater is cleaned top to bottom, and the space is returned back to its regular, unadorned, clean and tidy state.
Here is a 1ish minute video of a Strike of a pretty cool set for Midsummer nights Dream. Maybe we should started doing timelapes of our strikes and load-in.
