For second year NCBWL awards three $12,000 scholarships to local schools
For the second year, the Nashville Catholic Business Women's League will award three $12,000 scholarships to Nashville's three Catholic high schools. The board approved the amount in November. The approval means this year the league was able to match last year's scholarships for a student at Father Ryan High School, Pope John Paul II High School and St. Cecilia Academy.
The scholarships were funded by the 2018 Pearls of Wisdom luncheon, auction and fashion show, which in September raised enough money to continue to fund the scholarships at last year’s record amount. The funds are now being distributed to the schools and the league will formally recognized the schools and recipients at its meeting in February.
