Well, that's more than we expected... |

While putting together our first dedicated non-Dungeons & Dragons intro day, we were curious how many players we've actually run through The Nine Lives Trial (our D&D 5e Intro). It looks like we've just crossed the 250 player mark! We're starting to plan our first anniversary party and will have to pull some more stats for that, but we were too excited about this milestone to not share it with y'all ahead of time. A big thank you to everyone who's played it, and to our Games Manager Law for writing it in the first place! We're currently getting the adventure tuned up for publication, with some super fun art commissions in the works, so that should be joining The Blooms That Feed on Fire in our published portfolio soon(ish.) |

We love teaching Dungeons & Dragons, but one of our goals is also introducing tabletop roleplaying systems that are a bit less well known (which, it turns out, is all of them!) We've tried recurring intro sessions of Cypher System, Monster of the Week, and Avatar Legends, but they can be tough to schedule, so we're just taking a whole day Sunday, 9/22, to run as a many different systems as we can. You can find full details here, but the list is... Each is being run as a three hour session with no preparation or materials required, aimed at teaching systems that we think are particularly well-suited for longform campaign gameplay as that tends to be our forte. We hope to see you there! |

A stack of five Quests from the Infinite Staircase books that we've been using to prepare for the upcoming event, with an old Player's Handbook mixed in. A horrible rubber imp puppet sits atop the stack; its eyes move and we don't know why GM Sage brought this cursed creature into our hallowed halls. |

We're less than a month out from our big Passport to the Infinite Staircase celebration for D&D's 50th anniversary and have been blown away by how many of you are attempting all seven adventures! If all goes well, we'll be memorializing fifteen of you on the walls of TPK (we were expecting maaaybe one person would be brave enough to try it.) As a reminder, we'll be running a gauntlet of six remastered adventures plus one original capstone adventure written by GM Isaac across a ten day celebration. If you've been on the fence, now's the time to register! We've already run out of slots for The Lost City once and needed to add another session, but that's going to be getting much harder to do logistically as we get closer. And because everyone loves loot, here's the prizes one last time: 1 Session: A physical Passport to the Infinite Staircase 2 Sessions: A 50th Anniversary Sticker 3 Sessions: An Infinite Staircase themed dice set 4 Sessions: A hardcopy of Quests from the Infinite Staircase 5 Sessions: A TPK challenge coin (works as one luck point for any non-Leyfarer game played with TPK GMs, regardless of system) 6 Sessions: Your Infinite Staircase character printed and painted by Corvid Creations 7 Sessions: Player and character name permanently displayed at TPK

The gigantic miniature of Archie, the kraken, emerges from a TPK pint glass full of the golden Beach Day! Around the glass is just a little beach scene featuring a miniature volleyball net, four miniature lounge chairs, and four different colored miniature beach umbrellas. Need miniatures for a beach-themed one-shot? We can now safely say we've got you covered. |

Beach Day is here! This 5% ABV American Wheat is a refreshingly tart POG (Passionfruit, Orange, Guava) ale created for its namesake side quest where you meet our kraken friend Archie, who just wants to play. We were bummed that Improvised Weapon - Guava kicked right before bringing home bronze at the US Beer Open, but this is a pretty darned tasty replacement! Doff your armor and don your flippy floppies, it’s time to party like a wizard who happens to be on the coast! We also have a new collaboration beer that we brewed up with our four Mt. Tabor Neighbors (Leikam Brewing, Montavilla Brew Works, Gigantic Brewing, and Threshold Brewing & Blending) for the Montavilla Jazz Festival at the end of the month. MTV5 is a 5% Cold Session IPA brewed over at Leikam and will be available for the first time at their 10th Anniversary Party TODAY (8/10)! Come celebrate a decade of neighborhood craft beer with us; music kicks off at 3 PM and full details can be found here. |

We're just realizing Michael Kora (far left) jumped over multiple hoses to get in the shot after starting the timer and we're proud of him. |
