2024 VOLUNTEER Opportunities
This year, we will be focusing on ways we can serve our community, as well as serving at Trauma Healing Center events! We hope to have some exciting announcements for you about this in the next Newsletter!
Currently, we need volunteers for the following events:
Building Bridges Ministries holds a Family Table for pastors and ministry leaders. Sherrie Pucket leads this group, and she is looking for one or two people who could help setup and serve lunch at one of the Family Table events. This is an amazing opportunity to bless the many pastors and church leaders in our community. For more information, contact Sherrie at sherrie@buildingbridgeskc.org. Tell her Melissa sent you!
DreamCenter KC serves the homeless and those in extreme poverty in Kansas City. They impact hundreds of individuals a month with just a few staff and many, many volunteers. They can use your help! They have a few new projects they are developing, as well as their regular serving opportunities. To learn more about the DreamCenter volunteer opportunities, click HERE. Be sure to tell them you are part of the Trauma Healing Center Serve Team!
At the Trauma Healing Center, we have regular groups and trainings where we need volunteers to help greet guests, pass out the handouts, set up and serve meals to guests, and many other things! If you would like to participate, please make sure you have completed the form linked at the bottom of this newsletter.
