Message of the Month From Pastor Michael |

Church: I would like to let you know about something very important. As you know, two of the entertainment industry unions have been on strike. The writers have come to an agreement with the studios, but the actors are still negotiating. We are a congregation with many who are directly and indirectly affected by the strikes and the shutdown of Hollywood, so therefore, our church has also been affected by the strike. Our offerings have greatly diminished since the beginning of the strikes and continue to be very low. Consequently, our savings account has dropped dramatically over the past two months. Throughout my time with this congregation I have not seen such an overwhelming change in our financial situation over such a short period of time. If you are a person who is directly affected by the strike, please know that we understand your situation and know you may need to conserve your finances, however, for those of us who are not directly affected I am making a very strong request to you. Please consider giving generously as we move through this difficult time. The church very much needs your help to continue doing the work in front of us. Thank you for your assistance and your continued love of our church. Peace and Health, Pastor Michael |
