Dear Angel Friends, Can you believe May is already here? It's been a tempestuous Spring thus far in Seattle - rain and cold one day, followed by sunny skies and rainbows the next. Spring's fickleness is legendary! As temperatures warm up, I'm excited to see tulips starting to bloom, and the landscape filling with color. I hope wherever you are that you are nothing these little beauties from Mother Nature as well. We are testing a new newsletter provider to see which everyone likes best. Hence, you may receive different versions over the next several weeks. Please be sure to check your Spam folder, add my email address to your Contacts list, and - very important - open every email! This will not only allow you to see the differences, but also ensure that you continue to receive communications. Unfortunately, almost all service providers will drop or block your email if our communications bounce or remain unopened.
In order to let us know which newsletter version you prefer, I will post a poll in my reader's group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/anneesangelgroup I will leave this poll open through the end of Summer so you have a chance to see how each newsletter develops until then.

Can forbidden fruit lead to sweet romance?
After standing up to the wrath of the owner of a private apple orchard where her daughter picked some of the tantalizing, but off-limits, fruit, will Skye Palmer allow the handsome cowboy to atone for making her little girl cry?
New owner of Humble Tree Orchards Troy Sutton feels terrible - he shouldn't have come down so hard on the child for taking some of his ripe produce - even if the farm's profit margin is in the red zone. Can he find a way to make it up to her and her gorgeous angry mother? And can they come up with a plan to save the apple orchard before the winter frost arrives?
Sweetness is in the air... and perhaps an "apple-y ever after" might just be possible after all...

Violet's Voice Releasing May 18, 2022 |

Her voice saved him once…. Is he strong enough now to return the favor? Following the mine's collapse, Damien Cross lay between life and death, drifting in and out of consciousness in the makeshift hospital bed. Suddenly a voice captured his attention – a woman was singing. It was the most beautiful song he’d ever heard. The lyrical notes stirred something deep inside of him, willing him to live. If he could just hang on to the angel’s voice a little longer…
Five years have passed since that fateful day, and Damien can no longer stand to be confined anywhere – or beholden to anyone. He much prefers the company of horses to humans. However, in his dreams he still hears the voice of the angel, like a salve for his bitter, broken heart. One day as he is walking past the town's saloon on his way to the bank, the sounds of music within drifts outside, and a woman begins to sing. Shocked, Damien recognizes her voice – his angel.
Violet Lovelace is struggling to make ends meet following the carriage accident that claimed the life of her father and left her mother in a wheelchair. Teaching voice lessons to children isn’t enough to pay for the pain medication her mother so desperately needs. When Violet is offered a job singing at the local saloon, she accepts despite her misgivings. But what other choice does she have?

A coveted award…a missing Maltese…and a cheating ex… Can Trisha Campbell survive this year’s dog show competition in Last Chance Beach, much less walk away without a broken heart?
If there’s one thing vet tech Trisha Campbell knows, it’s dogs. Men, however, not so much. Especially ever since catching her ex-boyfriend, Miami P.D. Landon Prescott, kissing her arch-nemesis, Blythe Baker, at last year’s dog show after Blythe’s pup Princess took home the grand prize. Needless to say, Trisha's not looking forward to seeing either of them again at this year’s competition in Last Chance Beach, even if her beloved Maltese, Chloe, is a front-runner for the coveted trophy.
Soon after arriving on the island for the week-long event, Princess goes missing and everyone fingers Trisha as the dog-napper since her pooch is Princess’ main opponent. With not only the prize money but also her reputation at stake, Trisha’s willing to join forces with none other than her cheating ex. Can she and Landon figure out a way to work together to catch the culprit and find the missing Maltese before the whole competition goes straight to the dogs? And what happens when they find themselves alone together at last?
