Spotlight issue #376

Here it is- our first Spotlight of 2022! We hope you all had a lovely holiday season! It was so nice to see so many of you at our Christmas party and ringing in the New Year with us. The new year brings updates: one more weekend of The Sunshine Boys, and we've cast our next show, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

New Year's was safe and fun. A good combination. Thanks to the surprising amount of people it takes to pull off the New Years event - Brit Garcia, Justin Holloway, Joseph Moore, Sri Vengalathur, Mary Jo Wehmhoff, Schrenia Bockholt, Vicky McCormick and Tricia Yurcak. Not to mention David Hymel's terrific cast and crew. Jay Menchaca's auditions were worthy of watching. He had a lot to choose from, but more importantly he had an abundance of extreme talent to choose from. Several parts could have been easily cast 3 - 5 times over. It was good to see old friends, recent recruits and new faces. Congratulations to all those that were cast.

Christmas and New Years were truly a wonderful time at theatre! There was much cheer at the holiday party, with songs from Tricia, Brit and a surprise carol from Demonica! Mary Jo was our recipient of the Don Beveroth Award. Followed by New Years Eve, where we welcomed in 2022 with The Sunshine Boys! We had dancing, door prizes and champagne! Here are some photos from all the fun!
