travel season

Last week I returned to San Sebastian, Spain. All the hotels were booked, so we stayed a few towns away in Hondarribia. One of the great things about Spain is how much of life is lived out in the streets.

It helps to have pedestrian streets which are shared by cafes, buskers, and kids playing. The waterfront had a miles-long walkway used extensively by tourists and townsfolk alike.

They even had outdoor escalators. The bus system was outstanding, and we never needed a car or taxi. As someone who spent much of my career working to make cities better, it's incredible to see great planning in action.

a proposition

I'm excited to announce my next novel,

El Diablo, which comes out August 15!

This sequel to Tequila Midnight is a suspenseful mystery that finds Jessica Watts risking it all to take down a sadistic criminal hiding behind a pious facade.

If this sounds interesting, I've got a proposition for you.

Would you like to read an early copy of this novel? I'm looking for a few people to read an early version of the ebook El Diablo in return for an honest review on Amazon on or shortly after the launch date. Click below to sign up.

Yes, please! I love giving reviews.

a new video

A couple of weeks ago I posted the video trailer for Tequila Midnight. The same person just finished a new video for my thriller Portrait of Deception.

Happy Travels: Hondarribia, Spain
