A Personal Note from Me to You... |
|
|
Hi, there. I hope this note finds you well! So a little update about what I've been up to... In the past few months, I have been venturing out quite a bit more by doing an increase in guest speaking engagements, book signings, providing workshops, and specialized events. These have been in relation to the variety of ways one may learn and practice conscious living as we become more fully embodied spiritual beings, blended within our human experience. A quote by Helena P. Blavatsky speaks well to this, "Whatever plane our consciousness may be acting in, both we and the things belonging to that plane are, for the time being, our only realities. As we rise in the scale of development we perceive that during the stages through which we have passed, we mistook shadows for realities, and the upward progress of the Ego is a series of progressive awakenings, each advance bringing with it the idea that now, at last, we have reached "reality"; but only when we shall have reached the absolute Consciousness, and blended our own with it, shall we be free from the delusions produced by Maya [illusion].” As self-aware consciousness, we came into this physical plane with joyful intentions. Understandably, through living in this time-space reality, we may frequently forget this - but it's okay. There's always a new moment and a new day. It's about practice and awareness, not perfection - because there is no such thing. I am working on my Trauma-Informed Coaching Certification. Thus far, it has been insightful for my self-awareness and development journey. I appreciate the added tools and resources that add to how I'm supporting others through my services and programs. Continue reading below for insights about strength, vigilance, and a wellness tip with a recipe for Rosemary Tincture. I appreciate you sharing with others of my availability for the events, workshops, etc. and feel free to contact me for your own groups, organizations, and businesses. May your moments, days, and weeks be blessed with love, joy, insight, inspiration, fun, and abundance. |

Soulful Insight into "Strength & Vigilance": Tapping into the insights of Nature and Mother Earth, the "Mountains" came to us as a messenger of "strength and vigilance". "The massive mountains evoke a sense of impenetrable and immovable strength and stature. A mountain's quiet, resolute immensity leaves us in awe and inspires us to reach for greater heights... It makes no sense to deny the strength you have at the cost of allowing yourself to be reactive and subject to external influences far beyond what is healthy for you. Imagine yourself as a mountain of strength, solidly grounded in the Earth, your head held high as if you were touching the sky. Do so without straining, just as the mountain itself does not strain." - Quotes excerpted from the "Earth Magic Oracle Cards" ~~~~ The Soulful Living Insight & Wisdom that I may recommend to you, is the following: The Invitation Spirit Offers The situation, event, or circumstance - or person/people you're feeling challenged by at the moment calls for you to be vigilant. But not to the point of becoming fearful or paranoid. Stand tall and strong in the Source Energy (Divine; Great Spirit) at the core of your being, wherein lies your wisdom and knowing of who and what you are and what you stand for in relation to your values, goals, and desires. A Soulful Insight to Consider Not everything or everyone we encounter has to be viewed through the lens of fear - perceived as a problem or a threat. Ask yourself, "What can I learn about myself, and how am I responding to this situation or person?" When we make this internal inquiry, we allow ourselves to view the entire circumstance from a broader viewpoint and a perception that invokes wisdom and more choices. We stop making ourselves and others the enemy. We seek to make empowered choices by understanding that power comes from changing our own viewpoint. Then we are equipped with the knowledge of our own intentions, the wisdom to invoke change, and thus embody the strength inside through knowing ourselves and the Divinity within that's expressed through us. The practice of one step at a time aids our ability to be steadfast - or otherwise vigilant. We model ourselves after the towering immensity of the mountain. For self-help, consider asking yourself the following: What recent circumstance has my attention? What can I learn about myself by noticing how I am responding? What emotions are manifesting within me as I observe the outer reality? How long do I want to spend on this topic while continuing to manifest these heavier emotions? Do I want to feel better about this topic now? Am I ready to view this from a new perspective at this time?
To have resistance within ourselves that, at times, may even seem illogical to our own way of thinking or perceiving isn't bad or wrong. We (you) are not flawed in some way. Everyone has various aspects of undigested life experiences that are revealed and realized through the ways we respond and interact with our life experiences and each other. A Wellness Tip with Recipe: This month's wellness tip relates to the benefits of a Rosemary Tincture, with the recipe below. "Rosemary has significant antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-apoptotic, anti-tumorigenic, antinociceptive, and neuroprotective properties. Furthermore, it shows important clinical effects on mood, learning, memory, pain, anxiety, and sleep." - National Institute of Health Tinctures are a liquid extract made by steeping fresh organic herbs in alcohol, vegetable glycerin, or apple cider vinegar. Tinctures are best taken under the tongue where they directly enter the bloodstream. They are very strong and may be taken diluted in water, juice, or tea. Avoid liquids for 10-15 minutes afterward.
Some Benefits: Rosemary tincture is a tonic for the brain. It can aid memory and concentration. Rosemary is also known to aid digestive function. As a decongestant, Rosemary is known to relieve congestion caused by colds and flu. As an analgesic, it is known to relieve pain and helps to calm muscle spasms. Famous as a cardiotonic, Rosemary has been known to stimulate poor circulation and may improve varicose veins. As with anything shared here, I invite you to do additional research and ensure what is fitting for your body, needs, and circumstances. Ingredients: Instructions: Use a wide-mouth 16 oz mason jar that is clean and sterile. Place the dried rosemary in the jar, and add the ACV. Secure with a plastic lid, and shake contents. Store at room temperature, dark area, or cover with a towel, for 6 weeks. Shake jar contents periodically to ensure herb infusion into the vinegar base. After 6 weeks, strain the rosemary from the liquid using a cheesecloth and store the liquid tincture in an amber or dark glass container. It may be kept in the refrigerator or in a dark storage cabinet. The shelf life is up to one year. Do you feel challenged in working with herbs or food as medicine?
