Let's PARTY!!! Parties are the lifeblood of a successful Zyia business. You’ll find that the more parties you book, the more money you make, and the more reps you recruit. In other words, it’s important you understand how to utilize them so your Zyia business can grow! Here you will find all the information you need to host or rep a successful party. More specifically, we’ll cover how to throw an in-home party, how to set your host up for success as well as how to close out a party and redeem those blessed host rewards.

CONNECT WITH HOST

Your host involvement is KEY to the parties success. Below we have linked a "Hostess Packet". This packet will walk the hostess through the basics ideas to help them have a successful party!

3 Tips to coach your host to a successful event:

1. Encourage personal invites instead of mass posting

2. A snack or drink goes a long way for the guests

3. Encourage to share the link before the party so guests can check out the clothes before they come! 

PARTY INVITES

If your host wants a physical invite to mail to her guests, make a postcard with all the party information on it—date, time, place, pictures, Zyia info, and a link to shop her party for those who cannot attend. (Canva is an easy app to navigate when making these)

Encourage your host to mail or drop these off to party guests five to seven days before the party date.

It’s also a good idea to create a digital image of the postcard to send to your host so she can send it as a reminder to those who are invited. These digital postcards can also be posted to social media, or emailed to those whom she doesn’t have addresses for.

Canva, Typorama, and Word Swag are AWESOME apps that making the invite designing super easy. 

CREATE PARTY LINK

Create Party Event after you and your host have set up a date and time, go ahead and create an event for the party in your back office. Creating an event generates a link for you and your customers to place orders through. Every order placed through this party event link counts towards the party total, and therefore, the host rewards. Send this link to your host right away so she can text it to guests who cannot make the party, but still want to purchase. For more information on this step, watch “Create a Party Event.”

PARTY BONUSES

Party bonuses, though not mandatory, help motivate customers to purchase, and gives you a chance to reward them for supporting the party efforts! These bonuses can take the form of offering something for everyone who makes a purchase, such as: free shipping, 25% off an item, or handing out a small gift (such as chapsticks or ponytail holders). (You could also use any/all of the above bonuses as prizes for games, should you choose to play them.)

Party bonuses could also be done in the form of a giveaway. Giveaways are SUPER helpful at encouraging participation. The giveaway can be as simple as a gift card, 25% off an item, or a hat. You ultimately decide what the requirements are for entering the giveaway. Some ideas might be: Bringing a friend, purchasing an item, trying on three bottoms and three tops, signing up to host a future party, requesting rep info, following your social media accounts, etc.

PARTY HELPS

Full length mirror - Business cards - Hangers - Clothing rack (Ikea, Amazon, or Walmart) - Catalogs - Brochures - Order forms - Pens - Giveaway item(s) - Signs/pictures with rep or host info - Computer or iPad with internet connection 

ORDER ENTRY

To place orders at the party you’ll need a computer or iPad at the party with the party link opened so you can easily shop the party online. Then you just enter the items the customer wants, their shipping and card info, and submit! Also, if you have more than one computer or iPad, bring it! You may not have everything Zyia sells displayed at the event, so having an iPad open for customers to browse the products is helpful. 

ENTERING HOST REWARDS

Once the party is over, its time to celebrate and redeem those well-earned host rewards! Contact the host, let her know what level of host rewards she earned and find out what she wants to order. Watch “Redeeming Host Rewards” if you need more help with this process.
