DJW TALENT ARE PREPARED

Check out all our latest updates on Coronavirus

While the full extent of COVID-19's global impact is yet unknown, it's a good idea to take precautionary measures to protect yourself, your family and your friends. DJW Talent have designed an E-Learning Course, to keep our clients educated, entertained and up to date with ways to continue to develop your skills and broaden your understanding of technology within the industry.

In light of this pandemic, it's important to stay updated on health guidelines from trusted organisations like the World Health Organisation and NHS.GOV. Ensure you're getting information from reliable sources to avoid spreading misinformation.

SO WHAT IS HAPPENING?

The Government released a statement yesterday:

'Drastic action is needed to tackle the fast spread of Coronavirus across the UK and increased social distancing measures will be introduced'

Boris continued 'Now is the time for everyone to stop non-essential contact and to stop all non-essential travel'

What does this mean for DJW?

We are in the speedy process of creating alternative ways to engage with our clients.

MEET Daniel-John Williams

Daniel-John Williams is the face of DJW Talent and runs The DJW School of Acting from the front line. Daniel has created an incredible actors programme and has been running them since 2015.

In light of the news, Daniel has quickly converted as many fun and engaging modules into some potential E-Learning classes. Which will go LIVE once we are able to announce that we are no longer able to operate face to face.

Daniel is interested and excited to see how the face to face modules can be converted into E-Learning and genuinely feels that during this uncertain time, we can still engage from a distance and have fun whilst learning.

GET CREATIVE. Now is the time to connect  with your talents and be prepared to hit the ground running when this all blows over.

''Our mental health should also be considered a priority during this difficult time, I intend to introduce simple wellbeing exercises into our modules to keep us all talking, expressing and connecting''

OPPORTUNITIES | CASTINGS

DJW Talent have noticed that things have been slowing down. Several castings have been postponed and many theatres have closed, so we know that a quiet spell is coming. However:

Self Tapes will still be submitted to casting directors and we continue to have open dialogue with them despite some working from home.

DJW Talent are dedicated to creating opportunities and will continue to submit actors for work, during this uncertain time.
