You Matter: A Conversation About Our Collective Impact

February 8, 2020

Presenter: Mary A. Colborn, Environmental Educator & Climate Activist

Hopelessness can settle in watching the devastating Australian wildfires. Just as devastating are sea creatures washing ashore filled with plastics and the dwindling insect and songbird populations. Knowing that the world faces such crises, not the least of which is the potential of run away climate change, can leave us feeling dejected. Our own efforts sometimes feel too small and meaningless.

But are they?

Join Mary Colborn and the Allegan County Democrats for a discussion on how our individual and collective actions − from recycling to reusing to re-purposing to composting – do make a difference and are more important now than ever.
