450+ Scouts Served With More On Their Way!

More than 450 Scouts and Scouters have created memories that will last a lifetime this summer as the first three weeks of the camping season have come and gone at Canyon Camp.  Thank you to the dozens of amazing troops we have had the distinct privilege to serve! 

We are proud of the many Scouts who have chosen Canyon Camp.  Hundreds of merit badges have been earned, even more advancement has been accomplished through our young scout Canyon Ranger Program, and the older Scout "O.W.L." program has hit a new level (literally!) with the addition of our high ropes course. 

In addition to all of this excitement, we have welcomed our first ever girl units to camp.  We felt it was only right to highlight Troop 312 in this month's addition of the monthly e-newsletter.  These ladies, along with the many others who are joining us this summer, have blazed a trail for many to follow for years to come.  Welcome to Canyon Camp! 

We will provide an overview of the entire summer by Co-Camp Directors Dick Reynolds and Lee Binkley in early August once the remaining weeks and the Webelos Weekend summer resident camp program have come to a close.  

Until then, family, friends, and prospective units, be sure to save the date for July 10 or July 17 for a night of fun at camp.  We'd love for you to be a part of this adventurous summer, and this is a great opportunity to learn about all of the exciting happenings at Canyon Camp. Learn more about family and visitors' night here.

On Thursday, June 27 a group of Canyon Camp Alumni gathered in Blanchardville, WI as Lyle Novinski, camp staff member and camp director; 1948-1960, returned from Texas to SW Wisconsin to visit with and honor family. 2020 Registration to Open August 1

**Thank you to the many troops who have shared their interest for 2020.  

You can add your unit to the list until 7/15.**

Your week at camp: Troops have already begun selecting to roll-over their deposits to reserve space for 2020 (highly recommended).  Be sure to do this if you're coming to camp in the upcoming weeks. Email program.canyon@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Troops who use the 2020 interest form:  A web link will be e-mailed to you the week of July 21.  This is a special opportunity to register before public registration begins.  Contact information, estimated number of scouts/leaders, and a troop deposit ($200-can be mailed in) is all that is needed to register.

August 1: Troop registration opens to public for 2020 season.

Troops joining us at camp this summer have the first opportunity to secure their week for 2020.  This is the next best opportunity.  If you fill out the form below before June 15, we will contact you the week of July 21, before public registration begins, with an exclusive registration opportunity.  This will give you one of the first opportunities to officially register for next summer. With our program operating close to 90% capacity this summer, it's a real possibility your preferred week for 2020 will be taken if you don't share your interest today.  This is an exclusive opportunity for you and your Scouts.  

The form below does not register you for camp, but it does offer you the opportunity to be one of the first troops to register before we fill camp next year.  We can't wait to share the Spirit of Canyon Camp with you. Share your interest today and best wishes on your Scouting trail!
