Hello Again Friends!

 Welcome to the 5th installment of the ATJM Newsletter!

I unintentionally missed August due to the hustle of back to school. Here we are half way through September and I still feel as if I am just getting my footing. LOL Between school drop off, pick up, football practice, Saturday games, homework, back to school germs, then the actual work I do for my clients...and THEN work I should be doing to maintain and grow my business. Whew, it can become overwhelming, but also satisfying looking at all that I can accomplish in a day.

How has the turn of our season impacted you? 

We all go through phases where we don't feel as motivated, or life circumstances have us performing at a level that we feel just isn't our best. I find myself criticizing my actions every time I decide to take a breath from that "growth of my business" part. Intrusive thoughts kick in because personally, I feel satisfaction in today's world is frowned upon. Yes, I prayed for where I am now, but imagine where I could be if I didn't take that day off? Or I pushed myself more on social media or I did a better job marketing.

In this season I've really had to learn to shut that noise off. ATJM is me. It's really ALL me and at the moment I support almost a dozen different businesses and projects. While I am working hard to build a structure that will help me be consistent in all of the things I need for ATJM to grow -right now with what I have, I'm doing my absolute best and it is working for ME. All my needs are met. My child has everything he can ask for, and I have space to be with him, actually raise him, get rest and even take a vacation.

So, in this season I'm spending time being more grateful for the now, more present in the moment, and more thoughtful in the expectations I have of myself and over my time. Grace. It always goes back to grace.

I pray that you have been giving yourself the grace you deserve and this season of harvest has you reflecting on all that you accomplish on any given day.

Adrienne Randle is a multi-talented Black designer focused on uplifting Black women through her artwork and products. Growing up in Norfolk, VA, Adrienne always held a passion for the arts and proudly displayed her creative side. Presently, she uses her skills to create products for Addie Rawr, a gift shop for Black Women that focuses on body, mind and spirit. She also works with other business owners and entrepreneurs to design custom planners, journals and workbooks along with coaching through their entrepreneurial journey.

Adrienne was another of ATJM's very first personal executive assisting clients. Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and just overall focus on staying true to her brand and herself allowed me to learn so much during our time working together. Her experiences and accomplishments speak for themselves and her willingness to share knowledge with others has been inspiring to witness. With every single choice she prioritizes what is best for the overall experience of the client all while staying 100% true to her businesses ethics and values.
