WHAT'S COMING UP

UNDERSTANDING 
PROJECT 2025
 
 With election around the corner, it is important for the black community to be knowledgeable and understand what Project 2025. How is this going to affect the black community.
 
On August 4th at 7pm, we will host on Zoom a FREE workshop on understanding project 2025.
 
On the call we will have a few experts discussing some key topics within Project 2025

Virtual Meet & Greet Session
 
Five Star Women of Color will be hosting a virtual meet and greet to learn more about the mission and vision of the organization. 
 
You will hear about the Five Stars, the process for membership and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

WHAT WE'VE DONE

Afro Soul Festival
 
Afro Soul Festival 2024 was nothing short of amazing. The weather was beautiful, and the turnout of over 3,000 attendees was remarkable.  This year we had April Watts as the host and DJ Tanz playing the latest hits of Reggaeton, Afro Beats and more.  ​
​
Our lineup of performers was:
African drumming & dancing by Keur Khaleyi African Dance Company
All female reggae band - Strykers Posse
Caribbean & Afrobeat fitness with Mr. Big Energy (M.E.T Fitness)
Nigerian artist X-One
​
We want to thank everyone who attended and participated in making the festival a success.
