A Global Resource: Read. Listen. Connect. I'm happy to call Greg Lemoine a friend, but before that, I had read his posts on Facebook, heard his podcast The International Teacher Podcast, and learned of his first book "Finding the Right Fit". Now Greg is a twice-published author with a new book out called "International Teaching: The Best-kept Secret in Education". In it, Greg explains step-by-step how to tap into what we call "the international circuit" and move from a local school to an international school. But he also weaves personal stories of various educators throughout the book, illustrating why we call it the Best Kept Secret in Education: Teaching Overseas. Read on for more information... |

So why should you read, listen to and connect with Greg Lemoine? EXPERTISE: An international educator for over 20 years, having taught in 7 countries on 5 continents - he knows the topic of international teaching inside and out; NETWORK: Greg talks about the "7 degrees of Kevin Duncan", but this really is a small, interconnected world, where through his work, podcast, conferences, and job fairs, Greg knows a lot of teachers & school leaders and has grown an immense network; APPROACHABILITY: Listening to his podcast and reading his books, you'll discover that Greg loves hearing educators' stories and helping them any way he can. He comes from a small city in Wisconsin (Go Packers!) which could explain his friendliness, but Greg also sees the world as his hometown; ENTERTAINING: It might be his infectiously positive way of looking at life, or his mid-western American upbringing, but Greg is hilarious! His self-deprecating humour is sure to make you laugh at some point, whether listening to him or reading his books.
So all this to say, tap into Greg's knowledge on international teaching through his two books, his podcast, and connect with him on LinkedIn, and you won't be sorry. And who knows?
