Loft and Shadows Sometimes the journey is as much of a gift as the destination. This painting was inspired by a Southwestern road trip... a perfect day to hike and hunt chanterelle mushrooms in the mountains outside of Telluride while appreciating our beautiful environment and foraging the goodness of Colorado. Miller Family Sugar Cookie Cutouts To my family, there's nothing more representative of holiday baking than decorated sugar cookies! These are the most tender, fluffy sugar cookie you'll ever have. The sour cream in this recipe creates a lightness that is a unique treat. I remember baking these as a child, and it's heartwarming to decorate the same recipe with my college-age kids.
