Parting Words

It's been an interesting year so far. I started off with some great local conditions back in February and March that produced some of my favorite shots of the year up to now, and then I barely touched my camera until my trip to Oregon with my buddy Jon Fischer in May. Now, for a variety of reasons, it's looking like that will be my only big photography trip of 2021, although I'm looking forward to getting out locally this fall, and also (hopefully) sneaking in some quick weekend camping trips here and there.

On the plus side, I've had plenty of time to launch the new website, learn the ins and outs of creating prints that I'm truly proud of, relaunch my blog, and do a lot of other "in-studio" work that I've wanted to knock out for a while.

Lastly, I have decided to offer an option to voluntarily support my photography and the educational content I produce via PayPal Donations. To date, I have not earned any income through my YouTube channel or blog where I have shared my educational content. I have spent countless hours, days, and weeks researching, planning, writing, and recording as a way to give back to the community; I do it because I truly love it. Unfortunately, passion does not cover the significant costs I have incurred!
