Event Calendar Changes Due to the growing concerns with the Coronavirus, the Arts Foundation--as well as other organizations throughout the community--are making changes to our upcoming event schedules. - First, our annual Chalk Art Show, part of the City's Spring Celebration event (originally scheduled for March 21), has been canceled, as well as the Spring Celebration.
- Second, we decided to combine our Youth Art Show with our Art Extravaganza, and now we are rescheduling the show for October 24-25. We will be updating our Call For Art to reflect the changes. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
- The AC High School Drama Department's musical production of Cinderella is being postponed to April or May. We'll update you when we get new dates.
- Arvind Nischal's colorful Holi Festival of Colors may also be canceled.

ACAF Board Meeting Highlights The Board met in February to begin the planning process for this year's events. In addition, the Board selected the following individuals to serve as our officers for 2020: Patti Krueger as President; Jonette McNaugton as Vice-President; and Mark Joseph as Secretary/Treasurer. The Board also adopted an informal policy of inviting guest speakers at our Board meetings, to learn more about what is going on in the Artist Community, and to attract more members to attend. All active or future ACAF members are welcomed to attend Board Meetings, which are generally held on the Second Tuesday of each month, starting at 7:00 pm, at the AC Library Meeting Room. |

WELCOME CENTER GALLERY This month we have a combined artist show, including Pam Jones, Gillian, Jonette McNaughton and Cherol Ockrassa. This is a membership benefit--any ACAF Member can schedule a show at the Chamber of Commerce's Welcome Center--either as an individual, or, as in this month, a combined show. Contact Cherol Ockrassa if you would like your art added to the schedule. Learn more about the program with the button below. The Welcome Center is part of the Chamber of Commerce, located at 3860 Broadway (Hwy 29) in American Canyon. |
