I don’t want you to be perfect. What I want is for you to be on a realistic, upward trajectory. Think about it this way: if you have one hundred opportunities over, say, the course of a week, to utilize your skills and tools, someone in the early stages of recovery might successfully take, let’s say, ten to twenty of those opportunities. That’s okay. Better than zero. Now the goal is to make it twenty five or thirty opportunities taken to use skills...
