Bear will be coming to Shannon Court to visit our residents who would like to meet him on 2nd July!

 Will it be coming Home this year? At Shannon Court, we are all rooting for England!

We have set up the big screen in the conservatory for any residents who want to watch the big games throughout the tournament, so we can cheer on our team!

Summer Events and Activities at Shannon Court

We have a variety of activities already booked in for this summer, including the below:

• Therapy Dog- 2nd July, 2pm

  • Bear will be coming in to join our residents for a bit of pet therapy. Bear is a lovely, friendly dog that loves to make people feel comfortable, relaxed and always finds a way to bring a smile to your face!

• Codie Brooks- 10th July, 1.30pm

  • Codie is a local singer that has delighted audiences all around Manchester and beyond. She'll be joining us on the 10th July to perform some great songs for our residents.

• Quiz Afternoon- 31st July, 2pm

  • The last quiz afternoon in June was a success, so we will be doing it again! Please feel free to join us on 31st July at 2pm for the quiz. If you're interested, please let either Tracey or a member of our activities know, so we can add you to our quiz list.

• Senior Fitness- 7th August, 2pm

  • We will be hosting a senior fitness session on 7th August with any interested residents. This usually revolves around chair based activities and games that keeps our residents active and improves their mobility and strength.
