You have helped college students explore careers in public service, something Jamie was committed to his entire life. Your donation goes directly to students by funding their paid internships and student stipends at one of our three institutional partners: The College of New Jersey, The Guarini Institute for Government and Leadership at Saint Peter’s University, and The Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship at Rowan University. Thank you for your support. We also thank our institutional partners, faculty, mentors, and internship hosts for their volunteer service and the lasting impact they are making on the next generation of public service leaders. |

Arthur Miles ’22, SPU, from Jersey City, completed an internship with Assemblywomen Angela McKnight. “This internship helped me study how New Jersey laws are amended and created in order to better support residents." Arthur is a business management major, pursuing a master’s in public administration. The funding he received for the internship helped offset his tuition costs. |

Frank Davis, ’24, TCNJ, from Toms River, says participating in the Fox Scholars mentorship program, “showed me opportunities for a political science degree. My mentor helped me find an amazing summer program for students interested in public policy and they're helping me find a job on the Hill too.” The mentorship program matches students with seasoned political professionals. Emani Wilson, ’23, TCNJ, from Ewing, is majoring in political science, with a minor in social justice. Her passions are education and deinstitutionalization. “I never thought I could merge the two together. My mentors connected me with Jim McGreevey, who offered me an internship in his reentry program. I didn't expect this." |

Jamie believed deeply in the higher purpose of government service. The Jamie Fox Scholars Program (internships and mentoring) gives college students concrete ways to explore how they too can make a difference through public service. Students participating are primarily those who are first-generation college students who do not have helpful networks who can pave the way with career advice and introductions. |
