So, what's new this summer? We are very excited to announce the launch of our three-part SUMMER SERIES featuring Sisters with a Story to Tell. For the next three months, you'll have an opportunity to hear from three remarkable sisters who lived an exciting career path prior to religious life. To kick off the season, we'll be joined by Sister Mary Peter Muehlenkamp, O.P., J.D., an estate planning and corporate attorney. All three events will be held at The Nashville Women in Film & Television, across from the Dominican Motherhouse. Thanks to our new member Lynda Evjen (WIFT President) for opening the WIFT Atrium for us. Mix and mingle at 5:00 PM, meet and dine at 6:00 PM. Remember to RSVP by JUNE 12. Please invite your fellow parishioners and friends and share the mission of the league, or bring back inactive members so we'll continue to grow. If you haven't renewed your membership for this fiscal year, please do so. |

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Lynne Warne "When the master comes and finds the servant doing his work, the servant will be blessed." (Luke 12:43) All of us have unused abilities. Maybe you’re still figuring out what your God-given abilities are. Or maybe you have abilities you’ve abandoned or ignored because of life circumstances. But God gave you those abilities for a reason: He wants you to use them to serve Him and others! If you’re looking to use your God-given abilities, look no further than the Pearls of Wisdom committee! We need all sorts of help: recruiting table hosts, securing items for our silent auction, setting up for the event... PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE continue >> |
